Nexus develops adaptive, data-driven systems to secure the resources of life:
Water, Energy and Food.

Our solutions optimise complex operational processes and accelerate the
transition to a Circular Economy.

Our approach strengthens the pillars on which critical resource security depends.

Vision

A future in which clean Water, Energy and Food are plentiful, affordable and locally available.

Unsustainable Linear Economy

The global economy is over 90% linear.

Over 90% of materials entering this linear Take-Make-Use-Waste economy are wasted or locked into non-renewable stocks.

The legacy of this unsustainable system is degraded ecosystems and zero-sum
competition for finite resources.

• Critical essential resources are running out
• Waste is suffocating ecosystems
• Win-lose competition is fueling conflict

Transforming to Circular

By transforming to a Circular Economy, we can regenerate ecosystems and engineer win-win economic models.

• Secure critical water, energy and food resources
• Reduce and create value from waste
• Shape cooperation across boundaries

Circular Flow

In the linear economy, we manage water like we manage oil … as a finite stock.

But water is a flow, not a stock.

Water flows in a renewable circular cycle that sustains our economies, health, food and shared security.

Water is an infinitely renewable resource.

Adaptive Systems

In today’s fast-changing world, the rigid systems of the past expose organisations to unacceptable risk.

Data-driven insight, agility and collaboration are essential for shaping resilient systems for our times.

Nexus partners with governments, companies and communities to develop adaptive, data-driven systems that:

• Create operational efficiencies
• Secure critical resources
• Enable the transition to a sustainable Circular Economy
